FOND MEMORIES:

Our LHO President, Carl Raso, who spent his summers as a youth in Loveladies has many fond memories. He recalls the Loveladies Dairy Cottage was located on the corner of Tidal Dr. and Long Beach Blvd. “They had great Ice cream and an ice cream smorgasbord!”  The building later became Island Realty and is now a residence.

He also remembers The Pottery Barn was originally anchored at the end of Tidal Dr. near the Loveladies Tennis Club, saying “We could catch crabs there - right in the lagoon.” This is something that many of us still enjoy today.
